Experimental Short Fim
After the death of his war-time photo-journalist wife, Paul uses his painting as a means to quiet the demons in his the mind.
DIRECTOR’S NOTE: When reflecting on cherished and sometimes heartbreaking events in our lives, we relay on our humanly-imperfect memories. We fill in the gaps with our imagination. The scenes we create in our brains keep those important moments alive, regardless of accuracy. In this film I look at the importance of our memories. How we create “reflections” to be used as bandaids to cover the dark times and as halos to lift up the greatest parts.
Awards include : Best Picture, Two wins for Best Visual Effects, Best Experimental film, Best Score.
