Filmmaker Mentorship
Our short film mentorship program creates a support system for budding filmmakers to create their first or second short film. We believe there is a endless fountain of creative voices and our dream is to build a platform on which those voices can thrive in this industry.
Mentorship includes script analysis, development, guidance for film financing, production resources valued at $10K, post-production and film festival guidance. All production support is catered to assist on a case by case basis. Submissions are rolling.
Requirements include: A .pdf copy of your screenplay - no longer than 15 pages (the total run time of the film must be under 15 minutes including credits); a one-sheet (no more than two pages) including the filmmaker’s biography, log line, genre, and short synopsis.
Please include a cover letter with your submission. In your cover letter please include what you hope to gain from this mentorship. What is your goal with this film, and or your goal as a filmmaker? What is your experience with film production? No experience necessary, but dedication and vision are a must!
*Though not required, for the protection of the writer we encourage all submitted screenplays be registered with the WGA. Include your registration number on the title page of your screenplay.
