Based in the heart of Los Angeles, California, our female-helmed independent production house has been recognized and celebrated for its exceptional work, winning numerous awards for our visionary films and screenplays. 

Our dedication lies in the art of delivering beautiful narratives across all genres that resonate with audiences. Each story is an invitation into a world of multifaceted perspectives and intricate layers, leaving our viewers with lasting impressions. FOUNDER & CEO

HOLLIS SHERMAN-PEPE

WRITER - DIRECTOR - PRODUCER

Twenty years a film industry veteran, Hollis is a celebrated writer-director-producer known for her inventiveness and attention to detail. Her work has garnered acclaim such as Best Picture, Best Sci-Fi, Best VFX awards, and Best Director nominations et al. Her directorial feature film debut, “Tenants of Carver Hill” is currently in post-production with an anticipated 2025 release. Hollis founded Farmer’s Daughter Productions in 2015 where she has helmed a diverse canon of film projects and screenplays.

Particularly drawn to concepts that dance the line between realism and fantasy, she tends to more often align her screenplays in the fantasy and thriller world, yet even the most grounded of dramas will give a nod to the magic and mystery of the universe and intrigue of cultural folklore. Driven by her passion for the creative process and love of research, she feels fortunate to indulge in the art of cinematic storytelling.

A BFA ,Theater Arts graduate from The University of The Arts, Hollis transitioned from being a lifelong actor to a filmmaker in 2012.
